These Booking Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all coaching services provided by Studio Intimacy (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking a consultation or coaching session, you (“the Client”) agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
Studio Intimacy provides professional intimacy and relationship coaching designed to support individuals and couples in developing healthier communication, greater self-awareness, emotional connection, and fulfilling intimate relationships.
Our services include:
- Free Discovery Calls
- Individual Intimacy Coaching
- Couples Intimacy Coaching
All coaching sessions are intended for educational and personal development purposes.
2. Coaching Is Not Therapy
Studio Intimacy provides coaching, not psychotherapy, counselling, psychology, psychiatry, or medical treatment.
Our services are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any physical or mental health condition.
If we believe your needs would be better supported by a qualified healthcare professional or therapist, we may recommend that you seek appropriate professional support.
3. Booking
Appointments can be booked through our website or by contacting us directly.
Your booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Studio Intimacy.
A free Discovery Call is limited to one per individual or couple unless otherwise agreed.
4. Fees and Payment
Session fees are displayed on our website and may be updated from time to time.
Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Bookings may be cancelled if payment has not been received before the scheduled appointment.
All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£).
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your appointment may be rescheduled or refunded at our discretion.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are generally non-refundable.
- Failure to attend without notice (“no-show”) will be treated as a missed appointment and the full session fee will be charged.
If Studio Intimacy needs to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer the next available appointment or provide a full refund if a suitable alternative cannot be arranged.
6. Late Arrival
If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time to avoid affecting other clients.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, we may consider the appointment cancelled.
7. Online Sessions
Online coaching sessions are conducted using an agreed video conferencing platform.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have:
- A stable internet connection.
- A private and confidential environment.
- A suitable device with audio and video capability.
Studio Intimacy is not responsible for interruptions caused by technical issues outside our control.
8. Confidentiality
Your privacy is extremely important to us.
Information shared during coaching sessions will be treated as confidential except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others.
Where legally required, we may disclose information to the appropriate authorities.
9. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Attend sessions on time.
- Participate honestly and respectfully.
- Take responsibility for decisions and actions arising from coaching.
- Provide accurate information relevant to the coaching process.
- Treat Studio Intimacy staff with courtesy and respect.
Coaching is most effective when clients actively engage with the process.
10. Couples Coaching
For couples coaching:
- Both participants agree to engage respectfully throughout the coaching process.
- Studio Intimacy acts as a neutral facilitator and does not take sides.
- Information shared individually outside joint sessions may not remain confidential if it directly affects the coaching relationship or agreed coaching objectives.
11. Professional Boundaries
Studio Intimacy maintains clear professional boundaries at all times.
Coaching sessions involve discussion and practical guidance only.
Any inappropriate, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or sexually explicit behaviour directed towards our coaches will result in the immediate termination of the session without refund.
12. Results Disclaimer
Every client is unique.
While coaching can support personal growth and relationship development, Studio Intimacy cannot guarantee any specific outcome or result.
Success depends on each client’s commitment, participation, and willingness to implement agreed actions.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information collected during the booking process will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Intimacy shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from the use of our coaching services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant coaching session.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
15. Changes to Bookings or Services
We reserve the right to amend our services, pricing, or these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
